You don't need lavish fabrics, a fancy machine or even a special sewing machine foot. Some imagination and scraps can go a long way. |

1. Trace out your stocking shape from an existing one you have. 2. Change the toe shape, or add a heel as on a shoe. Perhaps put a pocket on the front for candy canes or a cuff to embellish. 3. Once you have decided on your shape, cut out the front and back. These were so much fun to make. Here are a few more ideas for people on your list.
