Author Notes: These oven fries are quick to fix and have a lot less calories and fat than the traditional ones. For more flavor add a seasoning salt blend instead plain salt and pepper.
Ingredients: 2 large russett potatoes
1 tablespoon olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Wash potatoes and cut into long french fry shaped slices. Toss potatoes with olive oil, salt and pepper to coat. Place on a single layer on a baking sheet and bake until tender and brown, about 30 minutes.
