We have those same passions too and so do the other readers who frequent our websites.  So why not share those passions with everyone?  We know you have a lot to say and we want to hear it.

Why should you submit recipes, projects or articles for publication?

• Have a permanent online record that you, your friends and family can access from any computer.
• Promote yourself – All recipes, projects, and articles selected for publication include a byline credit that links to your personal profile that tells all about you and includes links to your website or blog.
• Get bragging rights – Not all articles are selected for publication.  Fewer still get the “Fabulous” seal of approval. This small icon says our editors thought it had particular merit.    When you make it to this level, you might want to think about a writing career.
• Create virtual community and goodwill by sharing ideas with others who share your interests. How did you learn to do what you wrote about? Someone had to teach you.  We think passing along information is the key to keeping us alive.

Why Share Your Recipes?
We originally started a cooking website because we saw our own families’ culinary histories slipping away.  Posting a recipe gives it a permanent home in cyberspace, so there’s no danger of it ever being lost or forgotten (or possibly burned or water damaged like so many books).  So post your family’s favorite foods.  Not only will you be able to access the recipes anytime from any computer anywhere in the world, you’ll be taking part in the goodwill act of sharing food and a bit of your family’s heritage with the world.

Why Share Your Projects?
We know our readers are a creative bunch, but even the most innovative folks can use inspiration.  The craft or home improvement project you just finished may help someone else figure out a better way with theirs.  Not to mention, you’ll get a great showcase to show off your abilities and talents.  Have you made a craft project that came out particularly well?  Did you fix a problem around the house successfully?  Did your recent redecorating venture come out spectacularly?  Get the bragging rights you deserve and share your designs.

Why Share Your Travel Experiences?
Everyone has limited time and money to spend on leisure travel.  In order to get the most from your travel experiences, it really helps to have the perspective, good or bad, of someone who’s been there and done that.  While our editorial staff does this, we are small and can only cover so much territory ourselves.  So why not add your trips to the mix?  You’ll never find a more willing audience who actually wants to see your vacation pictures.  It’s also a great way to share your trip experiences and photos with friends and family who may be far away.
