| Author Notes: | Decorating for the home doesn't have to be time consuming, stressful or costly. Something as simple as these guest towels can really add a touch to the festivities. Some lace, ribbon and ribbon roses (pre-wash before sewing) along with fabric scraps will do the trick. |

small hand towels
scraps of lace, ribbon or other trimmings sewing machine, needles and thread ribbon rose (optional) |
| Instructions: |
Along the edge of most towels is a line to go by, which makes sure everything is straight. Simply sew your lace or ribbon to that line, tucking under the ends as you sew.
