Author Notes: These simple bows, made from strips of quilling paper, are handy little embellishments to use when making greeting cards or scrapbooking. We used one in the photo below to put the finishing touch on our Punch Art Christmas Tree Greeting Card (see Related Project links below), but if you use your imagination, you'll come up with lots of paper crafting uses for them.
Supplies: 2 strips of 1/8 inch wide paper (ours were 12 inches in length, you can vary the length and width to make different size bows), twirled into loose coils

1 small strip, about 2 to 3 inches long, paper
a small amount of glue or adhesive (we used a glue stick)
a glue dot to adhere the bow to your project (you could also use a tiny piece of double stick tape)
Instructions:

Step 1. Photo 1. shows the paper supplies needed to make the quilled bow.

Step 2. Take one paper coil and bend its end into a loop the size you want your bow loops to be. The remainder of the coil will make one the bow's tails. Repeat this process with the second paper strip and put the two pieces together with a loop on either side.

Step 3. Take the small strip of paper and wrap it tightly around the center of the bow, trapping the ends of the paper strips under in the process. Trim off any excess paper from the small strip and secure the end down with a small amount of adhesive (we used a glue stick). Use a glue dot or a tiny piece of double stick tape to adhere the bow to your project.
