Brads are a great decorative and functional accessory for your paper crafting. They can hold two or more layers of paper together while adding a distinctive accent to your page. Brads come in a huge variety of sizes shapes and colors, although they all have basic characteristics in common -- a head (which can be round, square, heart shaped, etc.) set atop a pair of metal prongs.

Using brads couldn't be easier. Simply punch a small hole in your paper where you want the brad to go. Push the prongs through the paper, then spread apart the two prongs on the back of the paper to hold it in place.
